With over 20 years of experience in design and technology, I have developed a broad skill set across a fast-paced and progressive career. I have a passion for emerging technology and specialise in a number of different areas including: a range of CAD software packages; CNC manufacturing; metal fabrication; prototyping; woodworking; carpentry; electronics and engineering. With the skills and knowledge I have gained, I now have two key roles. Firstly, I am the Co-owner and lead of design and manufacturing at E-spaces Design and Create Ltd. Here, we use state of the art design and manufacturing to create high quality, modern, modular buildings for any setting. These can range from garden offices and lodges used for leisure or accommodation; to more specialised builds such as catering units. We can literally design and create anything you need. Secondly, I am the owner of Westfield Oak Design. Here we specialise in designing and manufacturing products for both commercial and private clients, these can range from shops/restaurants requiring bespoke furniture and fittings including desks, serving counters, bars, display units and decor. Furthermore, I am also a proven leader, with over 22 years of experience working in the education sector. The vast majority of that time being in secondary schools, but also working closely with primary and post-16 institutions. I have full Qualified Teacher Status and I am also an externally verified as a Advanced Skill Teacher, specialising in the creation, development and implementation of whole school Teaching and Learning strategies to further enhance curriculum delivery. My last 7 years in Education was in a senior leader position as Assistant Headteacher where I was responsible for: oversight and development of curriculum KS3 to KS5; financial led planning (long term curriculum and staffing forecasts and planning), management and overall running of the school site. Additionally I was responsible for Post 14 student subject choices; Academy based publications; faculty/department management and development; timetabling, KS4 college provision and the strategic development and management of ICT strategy across the school which included VLE platforms and curriculum mapping systems.
