Designed, developed and wrote protocols (Sole responsibility), planned, executed, analyzed/interpreted study results and wrote reports prepared abstracts and publications and presented results at major respiratory congresses e.g. ATS and ERS.• Proven ability to plan, supervise and manage resource and significant budgets – successfully led the activities of a clinical team (>6 medics and clinical scientist) in all aspects of planning, execution, interpretation, reporting of one of the largest and most complex studies the Novartis Respiratory Therapeutic Area had ever undertaken, >3,500 patients, 400 sites, 40 countries, with an external budget >$50 million. • Played a leading role on the project team that successfully achieved marketing approval for Indacterol. My involvement spanned phase I through to marketing approval in over 80 countries.
