Responsible for launching the Susan Terry Foundation, which was created to honor the legacy of the founder of CAN Community Health, Inc. The Foundation's vision is to create a future where individuals living with HIV are celebrated for their resilience, embraced without prejudice and empowered to achieve their dreams. Its mission is to support programs that empower individuals affected by HIV to live full lives, free from stigma.

Increased Chapter revenues from $1.8 million to $5 million. Tripled the Chapter's cash reserves over a two-year period while expanding care service programs for ALS families in Florida. Increased state funding for Florida's ALS clinics from $100,000 to $2.5 million annually. Developed and grew the Chapter's major gift program. Increased the number of grants awarded to ALS families by 75 percent from 2019 to 2021. Expanded board membership and involvement in mission support and delivery.

Served as chief communications counsel to the Government Relations teams in 24 states as well as in the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.• Led media advocacy efforts in support of the organization’s state legislative agendas, including functioning as spokesperson on breaking issues; • Liaison with the federal media relations team to ensure state-level campaigns were coordinated and consistent with national efforts;• Served as primary spokesperson in crisis situations throughout the southern United States;• Engaged key internal and external audiences in priority federal legislative activities, including efforts to increase the National Cancer Institute budget by $1 billion over a two-year period; and,• Wrote and actively pitched various media materials including news releases, advisories and opinion columns.
