During my tenure with LiveAuctioneers, I have worked with every technological aspect of our principle asset, LiveAuctioneers.com, a website that gets millions of visits each month. I have often acted as de facto MySQL database administrator and Linux system administrator.I regularly design and implement new features and services.I am the team expert for nearly all server-side code and all legacy code.As the Associate Architect, I take business requirements and decide how best to achieve those requirements within our system. I provide feedback to our product, and I create sequence diagrams, swagger documentation, and project tasks as needed for our engineers to fulfill the requirements.Accomplishments:- Revamped core auction engine to work without Flash plugin- Created timed auction software that has become a major part of our business.- Migrated applications to Docker containers.- Migrated technology assets to the cloud. - Created reference architectures that allows LiveAuctioneers to quickly implement and deploy new microservices using serverless platforms.

For this position, I worked with high school students of all ages, assisting and instructing them individually in whatever subject they are working on. I designed and implemented new curriculum as well as revise existing curriculum. I analyzed transcripts, assigned classes, and advised students. I also had a secretary and several educational paraprofessionals under my direct supervision. I was always working to improve our program and our ability to educate our students.

JSPHS is a public charter school whose mission is to provide a quality college prep education for the youth in the West Phoenix community of Maryvale. I taught English 1-6 (grades 9-11), English Fundamentals 1 & 2, Philosophy, and a contemporary literature course. I designed and implemented my own curriculum for these classes in alignment with the standards of the Arizona Department of Education. Though this job was challenging, it was very rewarding to be able to make a difference in these kids’ lives.
