I had the great opportunity to be involved with Jimmy Griffin on his return to Memphis, where we started our own record label,Centaurus Records: It was a great ride!Jimmy was a co-founding member of the group Bread, and an Academy Award winning writer. In 1968, Griffin and Royer teamed with David Gates to form the band Bread using session drummer Jimmy Gordon for their first album and their initial gigs. Mike Botts soon replaced Gordon as the band's permanent drummer, first appearing on their second album, On the Waters. In 1970, Griffin and Royer — under the pseudonyms Arthur James and Robb Wilson — wrote the lyrics for Fred Karlin's music for the song "For All We Know," featured in the film Lovers and Other Strangers. It won the Academy Award for Best Song.This song was later covered by The Carpenters on their third album. On Centaurus Records we released four great songs. "Blood From A Stone", and "Hana Lei", written with Robb Royer, "Goin Back To Tennessee" he wrote by himself, and a classic by David Paich, "Laura Lee". True treasures i intend to release eventually.

Designed, created, recorded, and manufactured a series of Musicards with original songs directed toward six special occasions. Happy Birthday, I Love You, Thinking Of You, Happy Anniversary, Congratulations, and The Wedding Card. Jimmy Griffin, and Rick Yancy provided the vocals.
