Hello, I'm Ray Crist, an internationally respected visionary, drawing from a profound well of indigenous wisdom and a life richly woven with diverse cultural and spiritual threads. My journey has been anything but ordinary. In 2003, facing a dire prognosis of stage 4 cancer, I embarked on a transformative path that not only led to my healing but also to my calling as a teacher and healer. Leaving behind my native Greece, I found my true vocation through the teachings of the Q'ero Nation elders in Peru, among other indigenous healers across Mexico and South America.For over three decades, I've immersed myself in the study and practice of shamanism, various styles of yoga, Chinese medicine, and martial arts. This eclectic blend of disciplines informs my unique approach to teaching and healing, focusing on shamanic tools and yoga as technologies for achieving an optimal state of being.My work has taken me around the globe, offering workshops and trainings at esteemed institutions like the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, NY Open Center, and Yoga Journal events, to name a few. Each session is an invitation to explore a balanced, empowered, and extraordinary life through the profound wisdom of these ancient practices.In 2007, I founded The Jaguar Path, a platform for sharing the invaluable teachings of the Q'ero lineage and other indigenous wisdom. As a Kuraq Akulleq, a Quechua title meaning "seer" or "visionary," I'm honored to act as a planetary representative, bringing these transformative teachings to a global audience.My teaching style is infused with affection and humor, creating a welcoming space for students to open their hearts and embrace the accelerated healing these practices offer. I am deeply committed to this work and to the ever-growing international Jaguar Path Tribe, honoring the unlimited potential within each of us.Thank you for connecting here.
