Ray is a business executive with 18 years of experience from various industries. His focus is on project and operations management, policy formulation and implementation, business process design, and organizational development. Key achievements are the privatization of government electric utilities and its rehabilitation into operation efficiency and financial profitability, most notably the Bauan Electric and Light System, fixing a 50% systems loss to an 8.9% systems loss, within the regulatory standards. Using and adopting frameworks from these utility experiences, Ray has conceptualized, developed and operated the Bauan Plaza Hotel, the first pilot hotel which has led to the development of the framework for the hotels to be developed by the organization, as well as property development for Adventureland International Leisure Corporation, a property management and hospitality company.In 2017, he has led the privatization and the modernization of the Lipa City Abattoir by standardizing its business process to achieve a Triple-A accreditation from the National Meat Inspection Service and ISO: 9001 Certification, tripling its production capacity and making the facility serviceable to provide processed food nationwide, and currently working with further certifications to allow food processing for export markets.
