Ray Holden is a business management professional in the chemicals and consumer products markets with people, customer development, and program management. He is a Technical Consultant with The Rumford Group in mid and southern Ohio. He has been with Rumford in this role since joining the company in late May, 2023. He has a very broad variety of experiences and positions within the coatings industry for the past 35 years. Prior to joining Rumford, Mr. Holden has held commercial and technical positions at Sherwin Williams, Evonik Industries, Ashland, Akzo Nobel Aerospace, TFR Inc., Concurrent Technologies Corporation and Material Sciences Corporation. In addition, Mr. Holden proudly served in the U.S. Army as a reservist. Mr. Holden holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Polymer Chemistry from Governors State University as well as a Master of Project Management from Keller Graduate School and an MBA from Saint Francis University. He and his wife, Hanning Chen reside in Dublin, Ohio with his youngest daughter, Emma. His oldest daughter Vanessa works as an analytical chemist for Hikma Pharmaceuticals and resides in Columbus, OH. Mr. Holden enjoys golfing and bowling and has recently taken up Pickleball.
