I am the Senior Pastor of The Gathering of OKC. Our church loves to worship the Lord. Next to leading The Gathering, my passion is Worship Music. I have had the opportunity to lead several thousand in worship in public veunes. I've sang and played music on stage with incredibly talented musicians and renowned artists. I've also had the distinct privilege of leading others in worship in large, medium, small, tiny churches, youth groups, a handful people in a living room - but most important - having an intimate time alone with the King of Kings in private worship. I want to help traditional churches incorporate contemporary worship. It's not just a fad. It's here to stay. So are hymns. Many churches want to use newer church music, but just don't know how. Other churches currently use contemporary worship, but need a little help making it sound right or making it relate to the congregation. There are two main elements to a church service - the Music and the Message. Both should passionately connect the hearts in the congregation to the heart of the Father. None of us have all the answers. None of us have fully arrived, but we can encourage one another to boldly approach the Throne and worship the Father in spirit and in truth. When we "Gather" together, we are leading others to the throne. This Greek word for Gather is synágō (συνάγω) which means to come together, take in, accompany, to lead into, to lead together. Let's lead others to Him in worship.
