I'm a story teller at heart, the way I do it is visual. An engineer turned creative designer with 10+ years of experience, I bring products alive through stories that highlight their impact on a customer’s life. As the current USC PM Merch Co-VP, we have utilized creative marketing strategies to drive online traffic and increase sales conversions YoY by 700%.Let me tell you my story,I graduated as a civil engineer and went right into the construction world working for Turner Construction. Working in the virtual design department, I leveraged my design experience and helped elevate the quality of work outputted. Looking for a challenge I spearheaded our region’s first 3D printing initiative, the goal was to be used for client interviews as a tool to help tell the story, resulting in a 200% increase in the use of 3D printing for interviews. These helped implement new marketing strategies and set new expectations that are now a standard with the proposal teams. I lead the coordination of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc) trade 3D models to ensure a clash free model of the building on projects up to $950M, ensuring project deadlines were held. I dived deeper into the construction industry and became a superintendent responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the field activities of a $20M construction site. With all that, I was ready for a change. Despite working my whole life to reach this industry, I was ready to be client facing in a position that allowed me to utilize my creativity to sell and implement successful marketing strategies. Since 2015 I have been working as a freelancer with clients on various projects ranging from product photography, branding, marketing, deck design, and logo design. Now as the Co-VP fo Merch at the USC.PM program. I manage 6-8 core reps regarding the design, marketing, and sales of merchandising for students within the Marshall School of Business. We achieved a 300% sales revenue increase in the first 90 days and have achieved 700% YoY sales in the first year of taking over.I’m driven by taking charge of a team and leading them through ambiguous guidelines to put together marketing strategies. Carving out our own story that best celebrates our product.____________________________My specialties:- Branding- Photography (Product, street, portrait)- eCommerce Management- Website Building- Email Marketing- Problem Solving
