As an ESL Instructor at Norquest College, I have over 20 years of experience in teaching English to learners from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I help them achieve their language goals and integrate into Canadian society, using engaging and learner-centered methods. I am also a TESL Canada Level 2 Instructor at NorQuest College, where I provide professional development and mentorship to aspiring ESL teachers.With a strong academic background and a keen interest in political philosophy, cultural studies, and metaphorical discourse, I have published a book chapter on the descriptive function of metaphors, and I have been a finalist for the Graduate Essay of the Year award. I am also certified in IELTS training and respect in the workplace, and I am passionate about delivering high-quality and inclusive ESL instruction that fosters learners' confidence, curiosity, and creativity.
