The Senior Director, F135 Sustainment is an executive level position that is specifically focused on developing and leading the logistics and sustainment for the F135 Joint Strike Fighter engine program. I am responsible for creating, coordinating, and managing a domestic and international sustainment organization that can deliver spares and services to the worldwide F135 propulsion fleet. This includes: operations, customer base activations, maintenance services, site/depot activation, and fleet management services for a growing fleet of 3,000+ aircraft. Specific responsibilities include: Establishing and effectively mmanaging the global supply chain to reduce life-cycle sustainment costs; Developing the strategy and processes that meet the evolving needs of the F135 customers; Scaling the team supporting the program in support of projected growth; Successfully constructing and iimplementing a performance based logistics and fleet management program domestically and internationally; Managing maintenance relationships and partner networks to ensure sufficient product support, parts availability, and material requirements are met in the most cost efficient manner; Developing, improving and implementing global business processes ensuring quality standards, procedures and audit processes remain compliant with ITAR/EAR and industry standards; Delivering on affordability and readiness metrics in support of internal and external customers; Coordinating with US Government Joint Program Office, Lockheed Martin, domestic (USAF, USN and USMC) and F135 engine customers worldwide; and creating an expectional supplier and sub-supplier partnership and relationship with Rolls Royce and United Technologies Aerospace Systems.
