Elected to the San Antonio City Council in 2009 and serves on several Council committees including intergovernmental relations chair, educational excellence chair, public housing trust chair and a member of the economic development committee & infrasructure and growth committee for the city of San antonio. Ray also serves on several intergovernmental committees includinhe ice chair of he metropolitan planning organization (MPO), committee of six and the area council of governments (AACOG).Shortly after retiring, Ray incorporated REV Enterprises, Inc. and serves as president & CEO. Initially providing IT consulting service, client REV has expanded its product and service set to include cellular network services and devices as a cricket exclusive retail dealer and provides collaborative products and services as a Promethean exclusive reseller in Texas. Promethean, inc is a world leader in whiteboard technology.
