While working at Olson's, I was able to apply my specialty as a Master Plumber Level-Plumbing Service Technician. The job also included regular and emergency services on-call, for the entire metro Colorado Springs area. The services that I provided included, but were not limited to: Kitchen & bathroom plumbing installations and repairs: sinks, showers, tubs, and toilet repairs & replacements, installation & repairs of tankless & standard water heaters, garbage disposal installations & repairs, water service line repairs or upgrades, water wells, water sprinklers, commercial plumbing to include: rough- ins of pre-construction and new construction apartment unit projects, with residential and commercial business plumbing (shopping centers like King Soopers), restaurants, hair salons, etc. I am proud to have worked with Olson's, and I am appreciative and respectful of everything that they do for the community.

In Colorado Springs, Roto-Rooter provided the fulfilling employment of performing plumbing maintenance on facilities such as hospitals, retirement communities and military bases located in Colorado Springs. Roto-Rooter was my first job when I just moved to Colorado Springs. An all-out-in-the-field job within the metro area of Colorado Springs. It allowed me to learn the area very well while doing service calls. I have extensive skills in plumbing as a primary trade with college training and experience in electricity as my secondary trade. I also have years of experience in general construction such as carpentry, painting, concrete, etc. from 30 years of professional contracting. I am very grateful to Roto-Rooter as my first job when I moved to Colorado Springs. My preferences are working on military bases, so I moved in a different direction from Roto-Rooter. Not even going to start with the job responsibilities here. I am just going straight to the accomplishments. I have facilities maintenance achievement award certificates from Taskforce Renegade, Taskforce Tarheel, and Taskforce Trident and many others in Afghanistan in recognition of my work, in support of United States Army, Special Forces and many other Coalition Forces stationed throughout the Middle East. My primary responsibilities were everything concerning water as a Lead in the plumbing department in a War Zone. I performed the cutting, fitting, connection, and the installation of all plumbing piping. I maintained all underground and above ground plumbing systems, both repairing and replacing all mechanical pumps and additional components as required.My Plumbing Department:We 100% accomplished the installation and maintenance of all plumbing, fittings, and fixtures, in accordance with the Uniform and International Plumbing Codes.We maintained various plumbing systems both inside and outside of buildings including ROWPU units supply fresh water to entire forward operating bases.We advised upper management on material requirements, cost of project and job progress.Accomplished various projects utilizing design drawings, specifications, diagrams and isometric drawings.Complied with all Environmental Safety and Health (ESH) and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provided documentation to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.Worked outside on various job sites in extreme weather conditions as required.Maintained workplace training programs and ensured safety is the highest priority in the workplace.Performed other duties as required.

I was in Iraq from nearly the beginning to the end, from Operation Iraqi Freedom to Operation New Dawn, working in support of our Warfighters. What I brought to Iraq was plumbing experience, combined with other general construction experience that made an unforgettable difference in the support of the United States soldiers stationed in Iraq.My primary expertise is in plumbing: installation, maintenance and repair of sanitary drainage or storm drainage facilities, venting systems, public or private water supply systems, septic tanks and/or military base lift stations, drainage and or supply wells, swimming pool piping, irrigation systems, some knowledge of solar heating water systems, boilers and process piping, natural gas (excluding liquid petroleum gases), storm and sanitary sewers, sewer plants and substations, air piping, vacuum lines, oxygen and all related medical gas systems, fire line standpipes and fire sprinklers, tank and pump installations (with the exception to bulk fuel storage plants), and pneumatic control piping systems. I was hired by KBR Headquarters while I was in Houston.
