Raymond G. Meyer (CEM) has joined the CTEH® management team. Ray brings over 35 years of Emergency Management experience to the organization as an Experienced Incident Commander and Emergency Manager. He has recently completed his Certification as an Emergency Manager (CEM) through the International Association of Emergency Managers. At CTEH®, Ray will lead the Global Preparedness & Crisis Management Division providing a full-range of incident management preparedness and response services, including: • Exercise design, development, and execution • Overall Training Strategy• Incident/event management and support• Critical Incident Management• Strategic Catastrophic Contingency Planning• Gap Analysis development and reviewRay contributes extensive consulting experience in crisis management planning and oil spill/ environmental and natural disaster response with expertise in people leadership, personnel training, budgeting, account management, public relations, procurement, human resources, equipment maintenance, safety and regulatory compliance. Ray is credentialed, Type 3 Incident Commander and proficient in NIMS, Incident Management System. Ray’s, Emergency Management career began in the U. S. Coast Guard where he retired as a Captain. He has held Senior Positions within multiple Emergency Management companies where he has developed business strategies and objective that bettered a client’s preparedness program including planning preparation, training and exercise programs that lead to a fully qualified IMT. Mr. Meyer has responded to, built emergency organizations and acted as Incident Commander or other ICS leadership positions dealing with floods, pipeline releases, hazardous material releases, maritime security issues, and land and offshore oil/gas well blowouts. His experience also includes serving as one of the Incident Commanders during the 2010 Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill in Houma, LA and Galveston, TX.

This type of training deals in real world situations that ensure client’s Contingency Plans are fully understood and implemented. Current more than 400 training day are conducted on clients’ behalf.
