• Manage and control all business, human resource, Emergency Management training, exercise and planning development, and delivery aspects of the Emergency Response and Crisis Managment Department, with a staff of 15 full time employees and a growing list of contracted employees.• Plan and co-ordinate a three million dollar training and exercise delivery program that includes Major Emergency Management, ICS Training Command Post, and field exercises.• Coordinate with clients to determine their needs and capabilities to assist the clients in the area for a proper response and the overall needs in a program that can manage a response to any incident or natural disaster.• Responsible for course design, development and approval, in order to keep abreast of current regulations, technology and procedures.

Developed the individual section chief and unit leader within the site IMT.• Oversaw and developed physical improvements to the site Emergency Operations Center’s, procedures, equipment readiness upgrades, construction upgrades and emergency center oversight during emergencies. Provided the site with Incident Command Specialist knowledge and leadership. Proficient in NIMS, Incident Management System, currently trained to the Advance ICS level completing ICS 100, 200, 300, 305, 320, 400, 430, 440, 450 scheduled, 700, 700a, 700b, 800 and numerous other ICS training and exercise programs. Certified as a Type 3 Incident Commander.• A member of the BART and deployed to the Deep Water Horizon Incident an Incident Commander during the first weeks of the response.• Responsible for the development and updating of the site’s Emergency Response/Crisis Management and Business Continuity Plans. • Lead RMA's Crisis/Incident Management Team, which has been deployed 19 times in two years. Was Incident Commander on nine oil spill responses both domestic and international. Implemented client's, RMA's and Governmental Crisis/Contingency Plans. HAZWOPER trained including Incident Manager training.• Initiated Emergency Incident Action Plans and have developed emergency organization structure dealing with floods, pipeline releases, hazardous material releases, maritime security issues, and land and offshore oil/gas well blowouts. Developed plans that combine the response objectives from local, state and federal agencies, which prioritizes response strategies allowing all partners to work together within the Unified Command Structure. • Managed a Department that Designs, Facilitates, Controls and Evaluates Exercise Simulations. Uses feedback to identify "Lesson learned", which are used to improve the overall crisis management preparedness for over 300 clients and identify the areas of response improvements, training needs and future exercise simulations objectives. • Lead a full time staff of 16 and more than 30 part time staff, to ensure customer needs are met. Exercises are developed in Oil Spill Response, Business Continuity, Hazardous Material Releases, Floods, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Fire and other types of emergency incidents. These simulations are discussion led tabletop exercises, (emphasizing Coaching/Training) to a full deployment exercise that test many objectives and may continue for several days.• Developed training formats and curriculums to promote subject retention, while being both educational and entertaining, and cover pertinent issues. This type of training deals in real world situations that ensure client’s Contingency Plans are fully understood and implemented. Current more than 400 training day are conducted on clients’ behalf.
