I began my career in the A/E/C industry as an estimator with Joe E. Woods, Inc. in 1980. Although the majority of my training was in management and estimating, I additionally gained exposure to the demands of both the office and field. I had a great mentor in Joe Woods and really learned the business at JWI. At the age of 28 I became a Vice President at JWI and moved on through the ranks to President. As President of JWI, I was fortunate enough to join the Young Presidents Organization. As a YPOer, I met and learned from so many other Presidents of companies in a diverse cross section of industries. I believe it is one of the most powerful experiences a lead executive can have. After graduating from YPO, I joined the successor organization, WPO. In 2003, I started Nitti Brothers Construction. NBC worked in multiple market segments including office, retail and medical but found its strongest niche in industrial buildings. The company went on to build millions of square feet of industrial product. Today, as Nitti Builders, LLC, we continue to serve the Arizona commercial construction market. We remain a leading builder of big box industrial buildings and we construct millions of square feet of Interiors work.
