CurrentI am the General Manager of D&M Plant Hire Pty Ltd. We are a supplier of late model, fuel efficient earthmoving equipment for wet & dry hire project requirements. We supply a diverse range of earthmoving equipment in servicing the mining, civil and domestic sectors across metropolitan, rural and remote QLD, NSW & NT. As a point of difference we are one of the very few plant hire companies in Qld which is complimented with a manufacturing arm, our sister company Titan Manufacturing. Titan manufactures a range of machine attachments, i.e. buckets, rippers, compaction wheels etc in support of our equipment and provides 24/7 back up field support to both our machines and those of our customers. Titan has an R&D program employing two engineers. I have a passion to further develop and diversify our footprint in support of customers ever changing project needs and priorities. To help facilitate this I am actively engaged in day to day operations, researching industry drivers, trends, technology and understanding through regular customer interface and feedback likes, dislikes and project drivers. I am a strong devotee of back up service and providing advice, service or solutions in real time. In early 2013 I undertook a business decision to invest in a range of services and activities inclusive of a Chain of Responsibility (CoR) management plan. We are about to launch a revised & improved D&M web site, we are also available on Facebook and are regularly involved with the Toowoomba Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) and Gladstone Engineering Alliance (GEA). I have a very large operating budget to manage and understand as a business owner the importance of managing time, resources and $$$. I am proactive in attending industry seminars and am able to effectively communicate with executive and board level management. We are a member of the Qld Chamber of Commerce, Toowoomba Surat Basin Enterprise (TSBE) & Gladstone Engineering Alliance (GEA).
