I was employed to work on the Victorian water pipe replacement in north London. It consisted replacing all the lead water pipes from the main pipe to the customers boundary, and the installation of meter option boxes. Part of the job was to make sure all materials were sterile by using chlorus. I was in charge of setting up the site for road and pedestrian traffic as well as safe working practice. I was in charge of all stock checks of all personal protective materials, tools and chemicals.as well as company vehicle maintenance,

Employed as a logistics manager on a £6m commercial project we operated under strict time constraints. I was dealing with a large volume of materials through suppliers in limited space and on a tight completion programme. I also organised the labour, plant hire, inductions, toolbox talks and risk assessments. With the limited space we had on site I also organised material waste clearance as well as stock taking and making sure all workforce were fully equipped with materials for the jobs they were doing and general supervision of everyone on site to maintain a safe working environment.

Working out logistic issues for pedestrians as well as vehicles and plant. With over 2000 staff on site every day it proved to sometimes be very challenging but worth while.
