During my career at GE healthcare I was employed as the Ohio/Indiana Regional Engineer. With this role I worked 50% in the field working with our customers with Cardiology and Radiology PACS. And then spent 50% of the time working from my home office as an online engineer maintaining customer service and Pacs uptime.

With Catholic Health Initiatives I was responsible for managing medical imaging equipment with a specialty in Nuclear Medicine, Mammography and General Radiology for a hospital group in the Dayton, ohio. My responsibilities include scheduled preventive maintenance, Calibrations emergency and general service.

At Fujifilm Medical systems my responsibilities were to install and service radiographic and cardiovascular PACS systems, film laser imagers, general, mammography and mobile x-ray systems, DR receptors and CR units. Along with normal installs and repairs my responsibilities include lead engineer for local team of engineers, scheduling, performing preventive maintenance, upgrades of software, record keeping of machine history and constant communication with customers to meet and exceed their expectations. During my time with Fujifilm I have accomplished many projects some of the few most noteworthy is the installation of Fuji mammography and PACS at US Naval Base Naples, Italy in 2008, and Installation and support for Installation of Fuji Synapse PACS system at US Army Hospital in Laundstuhl, Germany in 2010. Also in 2008 Fujifilm Awarded me with field engineer of the year for 2008.

My responsibilities when working for Masterplan were to Maintain and repair Imaging Equipment for the Health Alliance of Cincinnati. This included working on all imaging equipment (General, Fluoroscopy, Mammography X-Ray Units, Cath Labs, EP Labs, CR’s, Laser imagers and Injectors) at all six hospitals within the Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati Health Systems. Besides maintaining imaging equipment I was also considered a lead role where I was a resource for all other engineers where I was responsible to create training material and conduct trainings, manage on-call schedules, and provide support for the development of our team.While working for Masterplan one of my largest accomplishments was to successfully transition all of the imaging modalities to a new PACS system. This was a large project that took large amount of planning and scheduling of resources.

I was hired to work from Jannx Medical systems in Philadelphia, PA as a biomedical engineer. My responsibilities at Jannx were to implement a new biomed shop. While working for Jannx we created and maintained an asset management system for all of the hospital’s equipment. This was used to create preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for the hospital. While working with Jannx I was responsible to sit on the Safety committee, capital purchasing committee, and other management teams for the hospital. During my time with Jannx I successfully worked with the hospital to replace ageing equipment. And successfully pass a JCAHO inspection with our installed asset management system.
