Outreach to local employers and create job opportunities for YJC job seekers. Negotiate placement contracts including wage subsidies and client supports. Monitor placement/support budget. Targets to release up to 1.5 million dollars is incentive/support dollars. Organize Job Development teams weekly employer prospects, collect statistics from team and submit weekly reports to Program Manager. Work with Program Manager to develop working plans and strategies to ensure all targets are met. Liaison with social service agencies and school boards to recruit clients for the YJC Program.

Supervise woodworking internship: Plan projects, purchase tools and materials, train and enforce health and safety, supervise project construction, plan and market two craft sales per year. Liaison with Red Sealed Chef in order to supervise client during kitchen internship. Build and maintain relationships with community social service agencies to contribute to wrap around case management services. Manage client case plans. Create and facilitate pre-employment workshops. Develop employment opportunities with community employers. Coach and mentor clients during pre-employment workshops and during work placement.
