I am the Audio Visual specialist for Goodwill of North Georgia. I have also worked as a contractor for Liaison Tech Ops performing audio/visual installations and integration for the new Alpharetta location of Global Payments.Before the pandemic I managed all of the Audio-Visual needs for The Battery at Truist Park (formerly Sun Trust) I used programs like Adobe Audition, Ableton, Martin Light Jockey, Audio Architect , Pro Tools, Adobe Premier and AMX. These duties included determining the needs of clients for private events and planning for large public events like New Years Eve, Halloween, Star Wars themed events and more. I was blessed to have an AV staff of 8 people who strived for broadcast quality results which were attained. For the past several years I have been the producer of the Sports Joc Show, a morning sports and entertainment talk show hosted by former NFL player Wayne Gandy. While I’m behind the board, it is my job to ensure our show runs every morning without a hitch. But my job is much more than just the bi-weekly airings. Prior to airing, I produce promotional segments, research and gather various stories, ensure accuracy of production, and line up interviews with reporters and experts from around the country. I also compile and edit segments and provide maintenance for on-air equipment. We were part of Radio Row during Super Bowl LIII in AtlantaThe show originates on terrestrial radio (WWWE AM1100), as well as several platforms online with video. I am often the go-to for random issues that will pop up throughout the segments. I consider myself a dependable problem solver, and have even been known to fix a broken piece of studio furniture or hunt down an obscure 40-year-old song based on the request of our host. As producer, I’m there to make sure our ship stays on course—no matter what that entails. I also operate the cameras and audio for our video livestream.
