A member of the executive team reporting to the CEO and Board, with overall responsibility for the data & analytics strategy and the Data Function within Chill. Key achievements include;• Deliver the data & analytics strategy to elevate Chill’s data into a strategic asset; key components include an integrated data warehouse, implementing the data operating model, delivering data insights and value-add services to the business functions, and continuous innovation of the overall data framework.• Deliver key insights and analytics across the Chill customer and product portfolio, which more recently includes data-led new business initiatives and campaigns, building predictive ‘propensity to renew’ models (SQL, Python) to increase customer retention, and developing lifetime value (LTV) pricing models.• Consolidating core applications data into a ‘single customer view’ of interactions across the business from origination, on-line and offline engagement, new business conversion, customer service support and existing customer retention. Data sources include Google Analytics & Adwords, online new business & renewal applications, core policy systems, telephony and dialler platforms.• Deliver a comprehensive suite of reporting solutions ranging from supporting and improving operational processes to providing actionable insights to senior management using dashboards and mobile reporting.• Embed a data-driven culture by continual engagement with key stakeholders via the data operating model, and ensure data solutions are interpreted and delivered to meet business requirements.• As a member of Data Governance Committee to implement appropriate data governance structures and controls to improve data standards and quality and ensure Chill’s regulatory data compliance (GDPR).• Manage and continually develop a multi-discipline team of developers, analysts and data scientists.

Certus was formed in 2011 following Bank of Scotland Ireland's (BOSI) exit from the ROI market. Member of the senior leadership team as Director of IT, MI and Analytics, participating in steering groups, business initiatives and change approval board.• Developed and implemented the Certus IT strategy to meet business need during various phases of the business life cycle including transition, acquisition and exit services• Managed full range of IT business applications infrastructure services, IT risk, software development, business continuity and managed outsource IT service providers.• Developed Certus’ Information Security policies and operating model which resulted in avoidance of external threats, compliance with customer ISEC requirement and mitigation of IT Risk.Lead the Certus MI & Analytics function with a multi-discipline team of c.15 specialists providing MI & Analytics services which enabled the business with real-time, high quality relevant MI . • Developed Certus MI strategy which delivered a centralised data-office model and partnered with the business to provide advanced MI and Analytics capabilities using Microsoft and SAS technologies• Developed the Certus data warehouse with an increase in data quality, reduction in reporting timelines and improved ability to respond to changing business requirements.• Partnered with Project Office in shaping and executing numerous change projects ranging from sub €1m to multi-€m including delivery of new business applications and technical currency upgrades.

Member of the senior leadership team and built a central MI capability to deliver improved reporting process across the business divisions • Developed the BOSI MI strategy and operating model which resulted in consolidating disparate data sources into an integrated data warehouse, improved MI governance and stream-lining key reporting processes. • Collaborated closely with business stakeholders to understand MI requirements and delivered high quality reporting and data solutions resulting in the MI service being rolled out across all key divisions in the bank. • Built a highly performing MI team who delivered a large volume of change using automated reporting solutions, ‘quick-win’ efficiencies and developing End User Computing (EUC) applications.

Dunnes Stores is Ireland’s largest food and clothing retailer with 150+ stores. Member of the senior management team with responsibility for the corporate and stores personnel systems. • Developed the Corporate IT strategy to consolidate disparate multi-vendor applications onto an integrated Oracle technology platform, resulting in store cost reductions and an increased ability to maintain competitiveness in a challenging market. • Delivered the overall IT programme via a series of phased projects which resulted in more integrated and effective processes across Finance, Treasury, MI, Marketing, HR and Payroll. • Managed the Corporate IT team of c.10 DBA, developer and reporting specialists and the operational and capital budgets. • Developed the data and analytics services, in particular the Sales and ValueClub (customer loyalty) applications which improved sales analysis and drove targeted marketing promotions.
