Update! after 3 years with the Gordon Trucks Centers Family under the local name of Freightliner Northwest, I have been given a new opportunity to grow. I am now the Regional Director of Operations over our Nampa Idaho and La Grande Oregon locations. It is exciting to have this new challenge and get to work more and learn more about how our Parts departments run. More great people to work with, and still as much fun as ever. I love this place!Wow! 3 years now as Service Manager at Western Idaho Freightliner and still loving it. It really is nice working with good people. The first year was a lot of learning and focusing on changing the environment. The past 2 years now we have seen excellent growth and success. I believe this due to us being able to recruit and train the best technicians in the area as well as our continued focus on the Elite Support program and the continuous improvement it is based on. We first certified in February 2012 and have passed recertification both years since. I believe our companies focus on our employees and our customers experience are the keys to our success. I enjoy working in a true team environment where we are not competing; but supporting each other in our various departments. The company sponsored paint ball, go cart, and bowling outings really are fun too!I also have 16 years in the moving and storage business with Air Van Moving Group the largest moving and storage company in the northwest. I have worked in dispatch, operations, sales and am now the Vice president of Operations for Idaho. My goal is to make sure that we are always positioned to withstand the pressures of economic cycles and to continue working to streamline our operations and grow our business.
