I was keen to broaden my skills and made the transition to the 4BH Macquarie Newsroom where my duties included presenting the state wide hour long 6pm News Bulletin in tandem with 2GB’s Terry Dear.•Broadcast journalism had great appeal and in 1977 I moved to 4BC where I was appointed News Director in 1982.•1988 I worked briefly at Radio Kalang in Port Moresby as News Editor and Program Director•1990 ABC Regional News Editor based in Toowoomba•In 1993 I was approached to take up a position as the Executive Producer of the ABC’s Regional Production Unit in Brisbane. •In 2001 I was appointed Queensland Regional Program Director (Content Director)
