Created a production group within my division (GDIT, Waynesville) to generate new markets and sources of revenue. The production group has grown from one product and myself in 2003 to more than ten team members and millions in revenue.Currently designing the INForce media node which is intended as a low cost, law enforcement training and surveillance system. Design includes embedded, audio and video design, power supply and mechanical systems/enclosure.Designed low cost room resolution tracking system hardware, utilizing 433 MHz transmitter tags and receivers, integrated PCB antennas, power management circuitry. System utilizes novel triangulation techniques based on nearest neighbor artificial intelligence algorithmsDesigned and produced the ERETS and RGSS interface adapters to make electromechanical legacy target systems controllable with modern computers. Implementation cost 90% less than the nearest competitor’s proposal.Designed the Human Urban Target system - HUT for the US Army, which is the primary target training system for the Army urban warfare ranges. Target provides location of shot and collapses based on configurable engagement scenarios. Produced from $50k of development money. Sales have exceeded $5,000,000 since 2005.Designed and produced IR Laser illuminator for covert video illumination at half the cost of our competitor, 2012-2013 sales to exceed $2,000,000.Managed development projects for the US Army ahead of schedule and under budget for these and about ten other devicesDesign and install warfare training systems for US Army combat training ranges, including video integration, embedded control systems, networking
