Currently working as a broadcast technician with Crew West Inc in Phoenix, AZ. We are a full service video production company who specialize in network news and sports coverage. My main duties are camera operator/DP. While at Crew West I’ve had the opportunity to work with ESPN, NBC News, CBS 60 minutes, HBO Real Sports and a handful of commercial projects. Over the past 4 years I’ve been the production manager on the road with the UFC on ESPN team. My main duties are to set up and operate cameras for the pre and post fight shows on ESPN+ following a PPV event. During the PPV fight week I serve as the main cameraman for fighter interviews that are seen on all ESPN digital/social/linear platforms. Prior to joining the team at Crew West I spent close to 3 years working for PSAV as an audio visual technician for large and small scale corporate live events and meetings. I worked as a Broadcast Technician for Royal Caribbean International. My duties were most importantly to shoot & edit video for the Cruise In Review DVD sold at the end of every cruise. On top of that I worked with a team of two other techs providing video support to the various venues around the ship, also helping other departments within the ship to produce videos to be aired within the ships internal TV network. While in college I worked on the sports production crew for Idaho State University covering football, volleyball and men and women's basketball games and also helped produce a set of videos for the outdoor education program. I've also done freelance work for InCountry Television, Altitude Sports and Entertainment and ESPN Rise. I also volunteered my time assisting the sports director at KPVI News Channel 6 with various tasks like editing footage for newscasts, going on location to shoot sports highlights, and operating the live truck for nightly newscasts.
