A 1981 graduate of Penn State University, I hold a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. After graduation, I spent 20 years in the aerospace industry, working for numerous aircraft companies including General Dynamics, Saab Aircraft, The Boeing Company and Lockheed-Martin. In recent years, I've turned my engineering and design talents towards the mobile robotics industry. Prior to forming RoPro Design in 2003, I had worked as a consultant in the robotics field for the Carnegie Science Center, Probotics and the NREC. For the past 22 years, I've owned and operated RoPro Design, a small energetic company specializing in the design and fabrication of prototypes for the mobile robotics market. From 2014-2016, I took hiatus from my company and worked on an agricultural robotics project at Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. In 2017, we brought that team to Carnegie Mellon University's National Robotics Engineering Center in Pittsburgh, PA to continue our work in Agricultural Robotics. Presently, I'm continuing to explore opportunities in the California horticulture industry.
