I have had a varied career path which gives me a breadth of experience and knowledge that would benefit any company. I always look for ways to improve my effectiveness. I am a trusted remote worker, a self starter and able to programme my own time effectively. I am also an active safety manager who regularly coaches and trains employees on the safety culture of the company. Site safety audits are also part of my skills. I am proud to say that the apprentices and trainee engineers who are under my wing have an excellent safety record.I am an effective project manager with an excellent record of completing projects on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of the client.A few projects I have managed are:- First wind turbine at a school in Aberdeenshire. - The transfer of the overhead line networks to underground cable in various towns and villages throughout North East Scotland. These were large complex projects where I had to engage with homeowners, various contractors, local councils and internal staff to ensure works went smoothly.- various mains electricity feeder maintenance projects, to reduce faults and loss of supplies. - Apprentice programme for SSE- Streetlighting projects within Aberdeen City boundries.As an energy engineer I was the focus for expertise for all sustainability and energy efficient projects for non domestic properties.
