About Ray Scott

I ended up being an electrical/mechanical Project Manager and found myself in very responsible positions and enjoyed the challenges. Retired to early and would like to resume my career with perhaps a little more time off. Discovered that I am not a bad golfer. A previous employer strongly suggested that I take up the sport. However I had doubts about my ability. It was the wrong decision at that time.I am still healthy and energetic with an eye out for future work.

A long track facility for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Whistler/Vancouver BC.Also fulfiled a similar role in the construction of General Motors Place in Vancouver for the NHL team-Vancouver Canucks and the NBA team-Vancouver Grizzlees (now defunct) in 1995.Duties included leading, organizing, management of the various trades such as Electrical, Controls, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Suppression and Energy Savings approach to these projects. Familiar with LEED requirements and management of the LEED process. Went on to work with Graham Construction on the Vernon and Kelowna Hospital Expansions. Worked with a local Electrical Contractor as a Project Manager.
