Main applications are complex intelligent database software such as Intergraph PDS, AVEVA PDMS and Intergraph SmartPlant3D. Also supports Bentley MicroStation, AutoCAD. Smartplant Review and related software.Special interest in workshare project implementation, having been responsible for many major workshare projects incorporating various data replication techniques between servers across the world.He also possesses a basic knowledge of Plant Design Engineering, software deployment methods (SCCM/Softgrid), IT compliance issues and many minor applications used in the plant design industry.

Primarily responsible for all aspects of installation, configuration, maintenance and development of Intergraph PDS CAD system including licensing, Isogen, spec coding, and liaising with Intergraph and other Alstom sites in Europe.Also involved with PDMS, AutoCAD & Paradox Systems.

Responsible for the implementation and customisation of computer systems required to improve engineering design and document production, including AutoCAD, CADDS, Paradox, Dbase systems running on DOS, Windows and Unix platforms.

Primarily responsible for the design, build, configuration and maintenance of computers and instrumentation used for R&D purposes.
