In establishing LAWPRO we set out with 3 principle objectives. Firstly, to engage communities in the management of our natural water resources through exchanging knowledge (in both directions) and facilitating the input of the communities and the general public into governmental plans and programmes. Secondly, in association with the EPA, to further develop the catchment science underpinning natural water resource management.And Thirdly, to bring people, communities, agencies and everyone with an interest in our natural waters together, to share knowledge, to discuss and develop a common understanding of the best way to protect our natural water resources.
