Started as a Maintenance Specialist in October 2012 over our LDPE unit. I was promoted to Maintenance Area Team Lead in April 2015. Overseeing all of our rotating equipment repairs including Extruders, Hyper, & Turbo-centrifugal compressors. I was a Rotating Equipment Team Coordinator for our Ethane Cracker T/A during the fall of 2016. Currently working on the commissioning and startup of our new multi-billion dollar Ethane cracker (Turbines, Turbo-centrifugal compressors, etc.)

After the corporate spin-off from the Ethyl Corporation I continued with Albemarle at the Pasadena plant supervising the Rotating Equipment Reliability Group and Predictive/Preventive Maintenance activities. I traveled internationally as a Rotating Equipment Specialist and RCFA. I am a Mechanical Seal Specialist in design, application and failure analysis. I left Albemarle in 2012 to go to work for Chevron Phillips in 2012.

Following a career that began in 1980 in the Oil Exploration and Wellhead controls manufacturing. I started in the Petro-chemical industry 1988 as a 1st Class Machinis/Millwright with the Ethyl Corporation. I was promoted to Maintenance Supervisor in 1993. Ethyl spun off part of it's Specialty Chemical Business in 1994 to form the Albemarle Corporation. I transitioned to and supervised the Equipment Reliability Group. I am Level 2 certified in Vibration Analysis and Ferro-graphic Oil Analysis. I am also certified in Infra-red Thermography and Ultra-sonic analysis for Pd/PM Maintenance.
