After leaving school at 16 and being accepted for an Apprenticeship with BAE Systems my career and experiences have developed into what they are today. After finishing my apprenticeship in 2005 I joined the Quality Assurance department as a Quality Assistant where I supported Engineers to deliver products to customer and control the relative parameters to ensure quality was both maintained to a high level and built into products. In 2007 I was promoted to a Quality Engineer responsible for Industrial participation projects in the middle east on 3 products while continuing to be support other commercial activities.In 2011 I was promoted to Senior Quality Assurance Engineer and worked on European contracts regally traveling to customer and supplier meetings. This widened my experience in product range as well as working across production, development and service. In March 2016 I after a successful selection process I took on a new role as a Quality, Production and Manufacturing team leader managing a team of engineers across the three disciplines to support a variety of production, development, industrialisation and service projects. Over the past 10 years I travelled to multiple Middle and Far Eastern countries and companies to conduct first article inspections, quality audits and support various high level customer / supplier meetings. The continued support I gave with the team helped grow and establish these companies as a leading electronic system suppliers.I class myself as a fairly unique person with respect to working background who is extremely hard working, well-educated and highly driven. I have a lot of experience in working in teams both as a leader and member within the UK and internationally. I am very confident with traveling and do not find it difficult meeting new people with differing views. I am culturally aware easy to get on with and can quickly adapt to new situations.
