Role based on the Metronet refurbishment works on the London underground. Myresponsibility is for the acquisition, running and conclusion of Temporary and LVElectrical installations, as required by the Modernisation teams throughout the Network.These works require acquiring the opportunity to tender, Meeting with the requester, toestimate to the supplied designers' drawings, propose method of install and to cost. Onsuccessful acquisition of the works my role will involve managing our site teams toworking to an agreed programme. creation of a programme to the Clients satisfaction. I manage the day to day running of the projects. Creation of method statements and otherhealth safety considerations, procu,ement, tracking costs and day to day issues I ensurethe correct authorisation for works are obtained and correctly acted on, communicating toall parts of our installation chain as necessary. Towards the completion of the works I have involvement as "the installer" in the handoverprocess in regards to any station public lighting we have installed. This will be to theLUL representatives as part of their strident "Bring into Use" program. This involvessuccessful and on -time Completion, the Snagging process, verifying of test sheets,compilations of Lux level reading spread sheets, creation of Red line drawings and OMManuals, and demonstrations in respect of any deviations from the design in its robustnessand Suitability to LUL and IEE Standards.I have responsibility for the compilation and application of interim and final paymentsto the client' Q.S.'s to the stage where our accounts dept have full authority to invoicefor payment. Contract size will range up to approx. 800k.
