The supervisory management of production personnel providing leadership, managing teams and supporting the plant to deliver it's vision and strategy. I am directly responsible for the sections output and efficiency and achieve this by using Continuous Improvement (KAIZEN) techniques as well as other LEAN methods like 5S, SMED and Plan, Do, Check, Act to.

United Kingdom

• Worked closely with over 150 junior and middle managers to ensure they met their health and safety obligations and statutory requirements. Supported, coached and advised to ensure the safety and health of over 1200.
• Provided technical advice to the field workforce on relevant health and safety issues on daily basis.
• Assisted in producing policy updates and procedural amendments to support any new practices, legislation or areas identified requiring improvement.
• Carried out 6 site visits across the South West including retail centres and railway stations to conduct Risk Assessments and produce written statements on how the installations where to be carried out
• Supported a colleague to produce over 40 new and update over 150 existing material specifications within a tight deadline of 10 days.
• Promoted safety culture across the field workforce using the companies Homesafe initiative.

Devon & Cornwall

• Planned and prioritised activities across a team 15 engineers to ensure the clear deliverables were met with designated timescales.
• Focussed on performance management through rounded management and leadership across a team of 15 engineers and supported the wider region to ensure consistency across the teams.
• Spent on average 3 days per week in the field to support the engineers with the team carrying out a visit to identify coaching/capability/engagement opportunities and to act of them - including safety, quality.

• Involved in the DSO project which as part of the Analogue to Digital switchover - part of the government scheme to support eligible people to switch to digital/Sky for free.

• Ensured all plant machinery and refrigeration was kept in order across the plant operation.
• Carried out daily monitoring of plant and product temperatures as well as conduct microbiological testing of surfaces and product.
• Ensured all products were produced to a very high standard and that all quality control measures were consistently followed.
• Wrote, develop and review all plant HACCP (Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points) plans for activities within the plant.
• Liaised with local authorities which included Environmental Health ad DEFRA appointed vets.
• Record and investigate incidents/accidents, update records and ensure measures were put in place to prevent a reoccurrence.
