Mechanical engineer, currently working as production manager in a UAE based cigarette manufacturing company, whose main brands are Elegance and Escape.My responsibilities include planning the raw material requirements according to the forecasted orders and warehouse inventory levels, ordering the required materials and following up with the suppliers on the deliveries.Planning the monthly production schedule and coordinating the order readiness dates with the sales team and making sure we meet the production/dispatch dates. Visiting the multiple factories in which we manufacture and making sure all components of the cigarettes and packs are up to our quality standards. Approving product specifications and bill of materials. Maintaining the equipment at maximum operating efficiency with minimal material wastage and managing the spare parts stock/orders.Working with the product development team to create products that satisfy the market requirements in terms of smokeability, tar, nicotine, flavor, cost, etc…
