I lead network operations projects where we build new transport capacity across North America, to support various Google services.

I keep after the IP and ASN resources at Google (and some Alphabet companies).Also, I run projects to get new production routers into the Google network.

I was on the Network Services 2020 strategic capture team. With my experience in transition management and project management, I support AT&T's planning and execution efforts. As a leading provider to the General Services Administration Networx contract, AT&T can substantially influence the upcoming telecom contracts. I managed AT&T's preparedness to support agencies' need to upgrade to IPv6 technology. With exhaustion of IPv4 addresses quickly approaching, the need to adopt IPv6 in accordance with new technology is paramount. Though adoption of IPv6 is not top of mind with the Federal Government, I enjoyed working on IPv6 technology because it is a core component to future advancements. I managed the of transitioning services away from the FTS2001 Continuity Bridge (Crossover) contract vehicle between AT&T and GSA. The Continuity contract was the largest telecommunications contract with the Federal Government (prior to Networx). I managed the closeout of 10,000 inventory records.

I joined AT&T Government Solutions as part of a college hire program. I started at AT&T as a Project Manager implementing Voice over IP (VoIP) installs for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). As my experience grew, I adapted from supporting experienced project managers on my team to leading projects. After finding comfort in successful completions of projects, I volunteered my efforts – asking my manger if there was additional projects that I could assist with. I then lead a billing clean-up project, correcting billing at 250 sites. After successful completion of that project, I was asked by the Program Director if I wished to work on more technical projects. I then stopped my VoIP work and began managing internal operations of the two internet data centers used by the US Department of Treasury. The main project that I lead was the migration of the Storage Area Network. I managed project budget, vendor interactions, team milestones and reporting to management. Also during this time, I took initiative to seek out projects that were important to the leadership team and involved working with groups outside of the Department of Treasury. I volunteered my efforts on both a financial project and a customer satisfaction project.
