Part of a team of 10 that leads at Kings Cross depot of 350+ on board team members, to ensure the delivery of catering revenue, customer service, operational, safety & environmental and financial targets on a daily basis.We strive to drive excellent customer service through leadership, employee development and motivation.Work closely with other depots to ensure consistent delivery of on-board customer service and standards across the route.Investigating and Managing Safety in the work place creating a safer environment and delivering to the Safe Systems Of Work procedures.Co-ordinate daily briefings to ensure that all targets and standards are maintained and delivered.Undertake all people management processes for on board crews such as grievance, discipline and sickness for the people I am responsible for.Work closely with the Catering team, carry out and communicate, pro active initiatives to minimise waste and shrinkage and ensure crews are briefed on the part they play in reducing waste.Working cross-functionally with all depots and our route control to ensure contingency plans for service disruption are carried out to ensure service delivery.Participate in the internal and external audit programmes, ensuring any corrective actions assigned are closed out within the specified timescales.Liaise with local employee representatives (Union) to ensure consultation on changes happen with maximum employee engagement.Work closely with the local manpower team and currently lead on recruitment to keep the depot manpower plan under constant review, ensuring any vacancies are filled within a time-scales. Managing real time service delivery ensuring food safety, company standards and procedures are adhered to.Deliver up to five 1 in 12 brief day sessions to on board teams every quarter
