GruntFar 1994 - Oct 2010FAR:Tour Manager, Drum tech, guitar tech, bass tech, driver, merch, booking agent, promoter, manager & nag champa lighter.Stumbling upon FAR in 1993 or 1994 at the Macondo(former hole in the wall hard core venue in LA) it became my personal spirit mission to facilitate FAR's career. From 1994-1998 I brought them down from Sacramento to play Southern California from Santa Cruz to San Diego in and out of the hardcore scene, with and without bands I played in. Toured the US & Europe over and over again on both 'Tin-Cans' & 'Water&Solutions' and was(is) a part of the team until the final show on Nov 21st 1998 at the Metro in Chicago. Sadly for me, I also booked the final tours. Most people would give anything to have toured with Led Zeppelin. Far is MY Led Zeppelin and I am honored to have this as a chapter in my life. My greatest drum influence : Chris Robyn.Far Returns: I am once again working with Far. Stage Manager & Pony Rider. RIDE IT! *Update* and that ride is over again... Good run guys!

The foursome loaded up the van and hit every city they could reach. Working with producer John Travis (Kid Rock, Buckcherry, Save Ferris), Home Town Hero entered the studio determined to combine their pop sensibilities with the powerful, hard-hitting dynamics of their live shows. Less than a year from conception, Home Town Hero inked a lucrative deal with both Warner Bros./Maverick and Warner Chappel. Countervail found great satisfaction in touring and sharing their music playing over 100 shows in 1999 alone, including a full U.S., Canada,3 West Coast tours, and Hawaii. Using the momentum from their debut EP (Words of War) and their second EP "An Empty Hand For A Heart" (Phyte Records), Countervail's strength and popularity as a band continue to grow. Their first full length CD, "The Most Abused Word,"(New Age Records 2000) was recorded with Eric Stenman (Will Haven, Far, Deftones) behind the controls. Countervail go beyond labels of hardcore, metal or emo having shared the stage with bands like Converge, Bane, Strife,AFI, Earth Crisis, and were booked on the Refused(RIP) west coast dates that never happened .
