The MultiService Department is responsible for creating software solutions tailored to the MultiService and Municipal utility space.o Under my leadership, the MultiService Department grew from four employees with zero customers and no identity to a fully functioning department of close to forty employees and contractors and fourteen customers.o I structured MultiService to be a microcosm of Meridian Cooperative. o To be successful with a small team with limited resources, I had to be resourceful. As a result, many new ideas, technologies, and philosophies were introduced, all of which are now standard and accepted throughout the company.o I built out the MultiService office space to be open and collaborative. Prior to our buildout, Meridian had consisted of standard office space with cubicles and little encouragement of collaboration. Upon completion of the MultiService buildout, the remainder of the company followed suit with their own office space redesigns.o We introduced the Agile Methodology. With our small staff and high demands, we were struggling to produce sufficient results under the old Waterfall Methodology. As a result, we switched to the Agile Methodology and had immediate success. Today you will find that the Agile Methodology is not the standard throughout Meridian Cooperative.o We introduced the Atlassian Toolset, which includes such tools as Jira and Confluence. Prior to this introduction, we were using sub-standard, internally produced tools to manage tickets and code. Today, the entire company utilizes the Atlassian Tools. -
