- Licensed our proprietary software to companies in a variety of rental industries; specializing in construction equipment. Customers varied from a single location to over 300, including several multi-state regional firms; in a total of 45 states, Canada and in parts of Europe. Our software handled all aspects of the enterprise; including inventory control, back office accounting, parts, service, HR, payroll, Point of Sale and many other functions. - Responsible for well over $30,000,000 in revenues. - Prepared for and attended local, regional and national trade shows, including logistics. - Created quotations, answered RFP's, negotiated pricing on licensing and service agreements. - Managed team members in all areas of the business (software development, support, implementation, technical and back office). - Consulted with our client's owners and management, provided implementation services when needed; showing them the best way to use our software for the unique needs of their respective companies from a "10,000 foot level" and how to use our rules engines to get the business analytics that would guide them now and in the future. - Excelled at solution selling to all levels of the business - C-Level, IT staff, middle management and end users. - Named to "Fast 50" list in 2000 for growing company revenues 225% over a 5 year period. - Typical projects included all hardware including servers, Point of Sale equipment, printers, mobile devices, etc. Consulted with each prospect/customer to determine specific requirements. - Served as the liaison between prospects/customers and development staff on the sale and definition of large custom programming projects. - Was the original developer and architect of three commercially successful software products: * MovieRENT - for the video and game rental and sales industry * AlphaRENTAL - for a variety of rental and sales industries * AlphaSPORTS - for the mountain sports rental and sales industry
