Teq's headquarters looks like a Google-style environment. You must come visit and see the 14 foot 3D teaching and learning mural in the reception area—it's really cool.Managing facilities for a fifty thousand square foot building is what I do. When a bulb goes out twenty feet in the air over rows of cubicles, when there is twelve inches of snow in our parking lot, when the owner runs out of uni-ball pens, it is my job to fix it. One of the best jobs in the company is stocking and presenting the two 'clock snack cart for the employees. Healthy and unhealthy snacks (your choice) are always available. Our favorite food vendors deliver specialties to the cart. You have never seen anything like it. People are lined up six deep to sample these delicacies. I pride myself in keeping the entire facility organized, except for the warehouse of course. It is my job to set up the BBQs we hold throughout the summer for employees and our clients. Setting up the basketball hoop and outdoor pool table is just part of the fun I have at Teq. It's a rewarding job and the staff loves me. When you visit, be sure to stay for the snack cart.

• Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the library's building, systems, property and grounds daily.• Responsible for the opening and closing procedures of the building.• Responsible for the set-up and break down of multiple meeting rooms for a wide-variety of programs.• Deliver materials and packages to appropriate staff and departments.• Maintain and organize storage areas for the entire library.• Maintain and order all building supplies.• Schedule building maintenance, services and repairs.• Respond to and identify urgent building problems, cleaning tasks, equipment failures and grounds issues.• Perform building and system inspections. Anticipate and recommend maintenance services, procedures, products, and equipment needs for preventative measures.• Perform regular safety inspections and drills to ensure library and OSHA regulations are met.• Perform general custodial tasks regularly to maintain the cleanliness, appearance and smooth operation of the building and grounds.• Perform preventative maintenance and repair work on library facilities and grounds. This includes electrical repair, plumbing repair, HVAC repair, painting, spackling and other general repairs/fixes.• Perform lawn and landscape maintenance by applying fertilizer, mowing lawns, trimming hedges and caring for flowers and ornamental plants.• Perform snow removal, grounds cleaning and deliveries in all weather conditions.• Monitor renovation, construction, and maintenance projects. Work with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure quality of work and cost control.• Assist with IT, AV and other general technology issues.
