About Ray Clanton, Pe, Mba

As an Engineering Consultant with over 38 years of petroleum engineering experience, I help clients obtain production and injection permits from the WOGCC, as well as class VI carbon capture and sequestration wells. Previously, I was a Petroleum Engineering Consultant for Alan and Crouch in Casper, where I handled permitting for drilling and spacing units, performed decline curve analysis and EUR calculations, created operating procedures, and served as an expert witness in a court case. I also led the operations engineering team at California Resources Corporation, where I oversaw various types of wells and EOR projects at the Elk Hills field. I have a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming and an MBA from California State University-Bakersfield. I am a registered petroleum engineer in California and Wyoming.
