Computer Vision and Robotics: Working within the RASBerry Project (https://rasberryproject.com/) developing automated robotic systems for berry production. Developing 2D/3D vision systems and novel machine/deep learning approaches to detection and tracking of fruit in agriculture.

Developing state of the art inter-row weeding solutions for future sustainability in Agriculture in collaboration with Garford Farms Machinery. Garford is recognized as a world leader in Robotic Precision Guided Hoes and Robotic In Row Weeders, more about them at garford.com.

Developed software for an autonomous soil probe (auto-penetrometer) to intelligently sample soil compaction in agricultural applications. Work included implementation of an ENIP/CIP networking stack, robot autonom, topological navigation, controller logic and load bearing sensors.

Worked at the LCAS centre (Lincoln Research Centre for Autonomous Systems) to develop and train a multi-domain conversational agent system that utilised deep reinforcement learning techniques.
