About Ray Collett

I have been working in the 3D Visualization field for 20 years, and in that time I've been witness to an amazing evolution of the industry. Simple scanline rendering has given way to complex global illumination, 2D static cutouts of people have been replaced by fully 3D character actors in crowd simulations, and simple "X" trees have been upgraded to high poly count 3D trees. As the industry has evolved, I have enjoyed having the opportunity to be on the cutting edgeThanks to the position I have at Newlands & Company, I am able to work on a wide variety of disciplines; Max Scripting, 3D modeling/animation, texturing, lighting, VRay rendering, compositing, video editing, authoring, web design, GIS processing, traffic simulation, Linux & Windows server management (file servers, backup servers, web/mail servers), render farm management, job & time management, and many other misc talents/feats.
