Focus on protecting customers from fraud and scams whilst improving the customer experience in the mobile app and web channels.

Responsible for the digital tools used by 70,000+ staff (branch, contact centre, and wealth management) to serve 40 million customers worldwide. Led an international team of product managers, designers and engineers (~200 people). Selected achievements:• Introduced tablets with custom-built applications for front-line staff. Deployed to over 12,000 branch staff and wealth managers in 11 countries• Migrated in-branch customer servicing to the tablet. Handled 80% of Hong Kong branch servicing via tablet, reducing the time taken for the most common tasks by up to 90%• Launched award-winning “Smart Mobile Onboarding” app in China that reduced new account opening time from 90mins to 15 mins• Deployed electronic forms & signatures across 17 countries; saved ~10million sheets of paper, reducing costs and improving customer satisfaction. Product was showcased at the 2019 Adobe Summit• Video calling: UK mortgage application time reduced from 2 weeks to 15mins. HK regulated wealth sales launched in 1 month in response to global pandemic; 90%+ customer satisfaction rates and multi-million sales.
