Delivered consulting and IT architectural services on key Oracle projects with primary responsibility for Oracle Application strategy. > Participated in Eaton wide RFP process for ERP.> Negotiated Eaton wide technology & applications agreement with Oracle that resulted in significant savings over life of the deal. > Drove engagement activities with strategic key vendor Oracle> Directed the development of the group’s IT Strategic Plan for Operational Excellence. > Delivered organization’s strategic Oracle Applications and data plans. > Defined & implemented Governance resulting in only 1 customization and 16 extensions to the e-Business Suite Field Services and Projects implementation. The project put $500M of business on the Oracle e-Business suite. > Chief architect for implementation and deployments of 3 deployments of ERP MFG solution, 1 iStore ecommerce site, and Field Services, Depot Repair, and Projects.

Delivered consulting and IT architectural services on key projects of the Corporate Systems organization in position reporting to both the VP, Corporate Systems & Business Improvement and the Director, Architecture & Planning. Part of the organizations senior leadership team. Developed and defined the Information Technology strategies of the organization in support of the corporate business functions. Drove key initiatives that improved business processes.> Delivered organization’s strategic applications and data plans including guiding principles, multiyear roadmap of strategic projects to achieve the strategy, and alignment with broader IT & business area strategic plans.

Simultaneously held two distinct positions and delivered on roles of Enterprises Architect and Manger, EDM. Delivered consulting and IT architectural services to the entire enterprise. Developed and defined the Information Technology strategies to support Eaton business growth. Developed, defined, integrated and managed the information technologies and support resources associated with EDM. Managed EDM customer relationships. Applied database administration, Business Intelligence (BI), and data warehousing infrastructures and technologies to the strategic and tactical objectives of the business to develop and maintain a sustainable competitive business advantage. Drove initiatives that improved business processes, resource utilization and development, and computing infrastructure. Planned and managed database administration, data warehousing, and BI infrastructure initiatives and key projects across both the Corporate and Enterprise groups.

Provided leadership and direction for Eaton Corporation's North American Database Administration and Data Warehousing teams. Implemented global database administration processes and ensured cross organization teamwork. > Successfully executed the Manager - Interim Truck Group Technologies assignment from 03/2003 through 08/2003 while simultaneously continuing to lead the EDM organization. Commuted weekly to Galesburg, MI. Led a talented team in the Financial & Human Resources Oracle Applications upgrade from 10.7 to 11i (11.5.8).> Leveraged extensive understanding of the Oracle Applications and database infrastructure and professional relationships with the corporate data center team to identify and implement $1.5M reductions in processing infrastructure for the Truck Group. The effort included project managing several projects that consolidated infrastructure.

Provided overall direction, guidance and definition of Eaton's enterprise IT architecture to effectively support the Businesses’ strategies. Worked with executives in Eaton and the business group organizations to formulate enterprise-wide business and technical information technology strategies. Interfaced with all the division and corporate IT organizations acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future technologies and projects. Simultaneously managed EDM team while executing this role.> Established the Enterprise Architecture organization and new team of architects.> Managed 31 reports across the newly formed EA team including Architects, EDM, Enterprise Application Integration, Portal, and Content Management Services. Developed 2004 budget and profit planning that was greater than $7M.
