Oversee the operations, staffing, facilities for 9 branch offices serving the Eastern Connecticut area in addition to continued management of regulatory compliance at CorePlus. Branches include 6 traditional brick and mortar branches, one Loan Zone lending hub, and two Walmart Supercenter in-store branches. Responsibilities include:Initiating the streamlining of branch product delivery and customer service.Introduction and implementation of web based training, product delivery and servicing.Coordination of transition in vendor services for cash handling.Execution of fraud loss prevention, controls, response, and recovery.

Responsibilities as Compliance Manager encompass regulatory compliance, training and security. Specifics related to those areas of responsibility include:Ensure that Credit Union is in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Write policies and procedures to ensure compliance. Serve as the Credit Union's Bank Secrecy Officer.Manage the Credit Union training program including web based training, weekly staff training and development and coordinate staff off-site training. Implement and supervise the various local college and high school internship programs.Oversee physical security, coordinate with the Directory of Information Technology on all aspects of electronic security, and manage fraud and loss prevention and recovery.Plan, develop and coordinate the Credit Union's Business Continuity Program. Including coordination with State and Regional Disaster Emergency Management and Homeland Security Response Programs and Units.

Freelance technical writer, journalist and illustrator. Specializing in written and visual communications.Began as a fine arts studio in 1995. Exhibited in juried shows in the Southeastern Connecticut area. Working in primarily watercolor and collage media. Artwork in both personal and public collections including the Alexey von Schlippe Gallery at the University of Connecticut, Avery Point Campus.Expanded to include freelance technical writing and jounalism in 1997. Published in local and regional newspapers, magazines and provided technical writing for private business and govermnent entities including the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles.
