Since purchasing our company in 1996, we've experienced impressive year-over-year growth, with one exception in 2008 due to the global economic crisis. However, this challenge turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we pivoted, diversified, and re-thought our traditional distribution lines. As a result, we became recognized as the market leader in the construction and energy sectors, experiencing significant growth every year. -Acted as a trusted advisor to the managing director as we developed and implemented the Thisbe and Noah Scott’s strategic plan. -Developed and managed relationships, communicating with: funders, partners, and physicians.-As a board member, assisted in developing The Thisbe and Noah Scott Foundation's annual budget, audit reports, and material business decisions; was informed of, and met all, legal and fiduciary responsibilities.-Assisted the Managing Director and Nominating Committee in recruiting board members. -Periodically consulted with board members on their roles and helping them assess their performance -Planned, presided over, and facilitated board and committee meetings; partnered with the managing director to ensure that board resolutions were carried out. -Acted as an ambassador for the organization.
