As process owner for Capacity Management in JLT my prime responsibilities are governing the various outsourcers. This includes managing their workloads and reporting, working closely with them to ensure they can report and proactively manage JLT's capacity. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: -- writing and updating process documents and work instructions - maintaining and developing CMIS interactive reporting using SharePoint and SQL server - driving Capacity Management CSI initiatives within JLT and its suppliers- reducing costs with right sizing VM's and Citrix farms - involvement in design and strategy to provide advice and guidance regarding capacity requirements- monthly senior management reporting on capacity issues and concerns- producing service capacity plans for key JLT services including demand management and forecasting- liaising with Group PMO and business portfolio managers to ensure demand management is fed into capacity management and can be used in forecasts- inputting into business planning forecasts to ensure there are no surprises and budgets can be managed- managing capacity related costs and issuing quotes for additional capacity to the business

I work within the Capacity Management team at CC, my core task is responsibility for our transition of new capacity services using BMC tooling platform. This includes;•Setting up a new reporting pack, liaising with both technical and non-technical service lines and also with service owners. •Responsibility for the centralised core solution and also onsite customer appliances that manage the customer environment. Technologies include ESX virtual infrastructure, NetApp Storage and Oracle database. •Working closely with other ITIL service lines including the change approval process, problem management. All capacity related changes must be authorised by me. Chair operational control board meetings with service owners and also technical service lines to review and analyse any capacity concerns. Demand and performance management responsibilities are also within my remit. A range of tools are used to manage this estate including BMC Capacity Optimization (BCO), Microsoft Office suite and SQL server. Including driving automation by creating and maintaining my own SQL database with custom views.

Responsible for development and delivery of Capacity Management for the global Siemens Healthcare organisation and for Siemens regions of North West (UK, BeNeLux, Nordics) and South West Europe (Iberia, Italy, Switzerland). My responsibilities included; •Key stakeholder management with my customers for all Capacity related issues or questions. Chair for many customer facing meetings with senior subject matter experts.•Managing Atos internal efforts to respond proactively to capacity concerns that could impact my customers.In addition I was part of a global team for the wider Siemens customer supporting in excess of 10k managed servers plus associated networks, storage and applications. My role in this team included team lead in development of an in-house developed CMIS solution to improve automation and report generation for an extremely large and distributed environment. This solution was critical to large scale automation and cost savings in addition to driving significant process improvements recognised by the customer and formal audits.

Collecting and analysing data in order to provide detailed reports and recommendations, using SCOM, eHealth, HP Storage Essentials and HP Report Optimizer. Chairing meetings with service management and operational support teams to ensure capacity concerns were progressed.
